📖 Kindle & paperback 📅 21-day protocol 🌸 The 4 phases of your cycle 🚫 No starvation diets

You eat clean. You exercise. You go to bed early. And you still need three coffees to function, your hair is thinning and the belly fat won't budge. Your labs come back "normal." Your doctor says it's your age. It isn't.

When you live in survival mode, your brain makes a cold, brilliant decision: it cuts the budget for your sex hormones and your thyroid to keep the stress response running. You're not broken. Your hormones are on strike, and for good reason.

From the author of Unlock Your Nervous System and Reset Your Gut, Rescue Your Hormones takes the somatic route to women's hormonal health. It explains the biology behind your exhaustion in warm, plain language, and then gives your body what it actually needs to come out of emergency mode: safety first, raw materials second, rhythm third.

No 1,200-calorie diets. No punishing workouts. Just biology, finally working with you.

Does any of this sound familiar?

This book was written for you if…

You wake up exhausted after a full night's sleep, then feel wired and wide awake at 11 p.m.
Your thyroid labs are "perfect," but you're always cold, foggy and heavy.
You crash in the afternoon and crave sugar, no matter how "good" you were at breakfast.
Your PMS gets worse every year: breast pain, bloating, anxiety and a short fuse before your period.
You've cut calories and doubled your workouts, and your body holds on to every pound.
You're the one who holds everything together, and you can't remember the last time you truly rested.

What you'll learn

  • How to fix a broken cortisol curve, so you stop feeling wired at night and wiped out by day
  • Why your thyroid labs can look "normal" while you feel cold, foggy and slow, and which markers to ask your doctor about
  • How to get off the blood sugar roller coaster with food order, not food fear
  • How to drain stagnant lymph to ease bloating and premenstrual breast pain
  • How to use cold and heat to wake up your energy without burning out
  • How to sync food, movement and seed cycling with the four seasons of your cycle
  • How to spot the endocrine disruptors hiding in your bathroom cabinet
  • How to set boundaries your body can feel, and quit the Superwoman Syndrome that drains your reserves

How the book is organized

Chapters 1-3
Why your hormones go on strike

The chemical dictator (cortisol and your stress axis), the broken thermostat (your thyroid and the T4-to-T3 conversion), and the invisible roller coaster of blood sugar and insulin.

Chapters 4-7
The somatic toolkit

The circadian reset, draining the stagnation with lymphatic work, somatic thermal therapy with cold and heat, and the pelvic connection.

Chapters 8-14
Food, cycle and environment

Why calorie deficits fail stressed women, hacking your glucose, why fat is your friend and sugar your foe, seed cycling and your infradian rhythm, endocrine disruptors, Superwoman Syndrome and the liver.

The 21 days
Safety → Nourishment → Resilience

Week 1, the Safety Phase. Week 2, the Nourishment Phase. Week 3, Syncing and Resilience. Plus two practical appendices: a realistic guide to reading your blood work and an essential supplement kit with only what's worth your money.

The science behind the method

The stress axis comes first. Your hypothalamus, pituitary and adrenal glands (the HPA axis) run your stress response. When stress becomes chronic, the healthy daily cortisol curve, high in the morning and low at night, flattens or flips, and the systems that depend on it start to struggle: sleep, blood sugar, immunity and reproduction.

Cortisol and the thyroid talk to each other. Your thyroid mostly makes T4, a storage hormone your body must convert into active T3. Stress hormones, illness and low calorie intake all influence that conversion and the signals between the brain and the thyroid. That's one reason standard labs don't always match how you feel.

Blood sugar is a stress signal. Cortisol raises blood glucose, and sharp glucose swings are themselves a stress signal for the body. Steadier blood sugar, from enough protein, fat and fiber, eaten in the right order, takes pressure off the whole endocrine system.

The book translates this science into practices you can do in 10 to 15 minutes a day, built around one principle: a body that feels safe can afford to make hormones again.

Who this book is NOT for

  • It's not a weight-loss diet. It's about getting your energy, cycle and metabolism working again. If your weight changes, it's a side effect, not the aim.
  • It doesn't replace medical care. If you have a diagnosed thyroid condition, PCOS, endometriosis or any other endocrine disorder, the book complements your treatment; it doesn't replace it. Never stop prescribed medication without your doctor.
  • It's not a hormone therapy guide. If you're in perimenopause or menopause, the somatic tools still help, but the book doesn't cover hormone therapy decisions.
  • It takes consistency. Hormones respond to accumulated signals. Many readers notice better sleep and steadier energy within a few weeks; deeper changes take longer.

Frequently asked questions

Is this book for me if I have a thyroid condition?

Yes, as a complement to your medical care. The book explains how chronic stress affects the conversion of T4 into active T3 and the signals between your brain and your thyroid, and it gives you somatic and nutritional tools to support that system. If you take thyroid medication, keep following your doctor's instructions.

Do I have to follow a strict diet?

No. The book is built against starvation diets. It shows you how to steady your blood sugar with enough protein, healthy fats and fiber, and with the order in which you eat, without cutting out whole food groups.

How long is the protocol?

The core protocol lasts 21 days, in three phases: Safety, Nourishment and Resilience. Daily practices take 10 to 15 minutes. Many readers notice better sleep and steadier energy within the first weeks.

What is seed cycling, and is it proven?

Seed cycling means eating certain seeds in each half of your menstrual cycle. The research on it is limited, and the book presents it as gentle nutritional support, not a treatment. What matters most is the bigger idea behind it: working with the four phases of your cycle instead of against them.

Is it useful in perimenopause?

Yes. The somatic tools for cortisol, sleep and blood sugar are especially useful when your hormones start to fluctuate. The book doesn't cover hormone therapy decisions; for that, talk to your OB-GYN or primary care doctor.

Is this a translation?

Yes. It's the English edition of Rescata tus Hormonas, originally published in Spanish and adapted for US readers (US units, foods and resources). It's the third book in the Somatic Healing Series, after Unlock Your Nervous System and Reset Your Gut.
